Buyer's Guide of Paper Cutter and Paper Trimmer 1.What are paper cutter and paper trimmer? Paper cutter is used to cut large stacks of paper from 50 to 1000 sheets of 20# bond. The maximum cutting length is 41 inches. They can be operated manually, electrically or hydraulically. Manual paper cutting machines require the operator to physically lift and press down on the cutting lever or blade handle to effect cutting. The cutting operation of Electric cutters is driven by an automatic motor. Some paper cutters can be programmable. Trimmer is used to cut small stacks of paper from 10 to 50 sheets of 20# bond. The maximum cutting length is 141 inches. Paper trimmers can be operated manually, electrically or hydraulically. There are foam board trimmers, guillotine trimmers and rotary trimmers.
